כּוּן(b. h.) to stand, exist, be firm. Pi. כִּיוֵּון 1) to straighten. Sifré Deut. 308 מְכַוְּונוֹ במעגילה he tries to straighten the wood in a press; Yalk. Deut. 942 (not מכינן); Pesik. Zutr. Haăz.
